ApplyAXLEBOLT is a successful mobile game developer operating in the global market. Our flagship project is the mobile first-person action shooter Standoff 2, played by over 30 million unique users every month worldwide.
Our Animation team is a group of skilled artists who bring game worlds to life. Every animation — from character movement to visual effects — is crafted with great attention to detail to create immersive and engaging player experiences. We are currently looking for a 3D Animator to join us on a new project — a great opportunity to be at the very beginning of product development.
Tasks that you have to work with:
- Clean up and process mocap animations, ensuring high-quality and production-ready results.
- Create keyframe animations from scratch in line with the project’s style and requirements.
- Work closely with developers during animation integration: validate quality, ensure correct implementation, and meet gameplay requirements.
- Quickly iterate and fix issues based on in-engine results.
- Contribute to improving animation quality and optimizing the production pipeline.
It will help you with this:
- 5+ years of experience in game animation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Maya, including working with mocap data.
- Solid understanding of both technical and artistic aspects of animation, with the ability to balance visual quality and engine constraints.
- Strong technical background: understanding of the development pipeline and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers; experience integrating animations into a game engine (preferably Unity).
- Nice to have: experience working with the Animancer plugin for Unity.
