At Axlebolt we create games played daily by millions of users worldwide. Standoff 2 is one of the company’s key projects — a live product with continuous updates and a large volume of content.

The Marketing and UX Research team helps us better understand our players and make decisions based on their behavior, needs, and expectations. We study the user experience, conduct research for live and pre-launch products, analyze insights, and help product and marketing teams identify growth opportunities and improve the player experience.

Tasks that you have to work with:

Planning and conducting end-to-end research for live and pre-launch products: in-depth interviews, usability tests, playtests, focus groups, and surveys.
Independently launching and conducting remote and offline qualitative research.
Working on research projects where process and legal accuracy are important: consent forms, interview recordings, and communication with underage respondents and their legal representatives.
Combining qualitative insights with analytics and observations from product teams.
Preparing clear findings and recommendations for product, marketing, and other stakeholders.
Supporting research ops: knowledge base, templates, materials archive, vendor communication, and respondent recruitment.

It will help you with this:

Experience independently conducting product research for mobile products. Experience with game projects will be a plus.
Strong qualitative research background: in-depth interviews, usability tests, playtests, and focus groups.
Hands-on experience with offline research.
Experience independently moderating research sessions and owning the full research cycle.
Willingness to work with underage respondents and take into account the specifics of conducting this type of research.
English level B2 or higher, both spoken and written.
Extensive personal gaming experience in multiplayer shooters is required.
